Everything is well-balanced and grounded in reality, and even moments like the Joe DiMaggio exchange (brilliant!) seem organic and coherent. The story also provides an excellent send-up of the advertising industry, and the character of Ridley truly shines in this regard. Again, the humor here is perfectly tuned, and the story's tone is spot-on. The romance between Chloe and Bart is wonderfully endearing... Shes 37 and afraid to wait any longer. Her best friend, Jan, a runner pal, tells Chloe its all for the best. In Los Angeles to produce a TV commercial, Chloe discovers Bank of the Stars, a famous California fertility bank, and takes a tour. While there, she discovers that one of the bank's most famous depositors is her football idol, Bart Steel.
